Meet Hansel, a gentle and resilient 2-year-old boy who’s ready to trade his past for a cozy home

Hansel spent some time living as a stray in a colony, but you’d never guess it from how sweet he is. This affectionate guy loves attention and will happily rub up against your hand for pets. He’s still getting used to being picked up and can be a little unsure at first, but with a little patience, he’s sure to grow more confident and cuddly.

He came to us with an eye injury, but it’s improving every day—and he’s taking it all in stride. Hansel has lived around other cats and would likely do well with a feline friend. He hasn’t shown much interest in toys just yet and prefers lounging in his bed, soaking up the calm and comfort of indoor life.

Hansel does have a bit of a messy streak with his litter—he tends to kick it out of the box—but he does use the box properly! This may improve once he’s settled into a home environment.

Hansel is a 2-year-old male who is neutered, up to date on vaccines, FELV/FIV negative, and microchipped.
