Meet Sage!

Sage is a charming senior guy who was transferred in from our friends at Branch County Animal Control. He’s got a signature move—dropping the ball right into your lap to politely insist you throw it again (and again). Don’t let his age fool you—this boy still has plenty of energy for a game of fetch or a fun car ride.

Sage is very treat-motivated, which makes him a great candidate for learning a few new tricks—or just convincing you to hand out a few extras! He can be pushy with other dogs, so he’d likely thrive as the only dog in the home, or with a calm, tolerant companion who gives him space.

He may do well with a laid-back cat who’s comfortable around dogs—he’s respectful enough if they’re not overly reactive. **Older Kids OR Child-Free Home**
