Meet Rascal!

Rascal is a very sweet, 3-year-old boy with a BIG personality and plenty of energy! He loves attention, treats, and squeaky toys — although he’ll happily rip all the fluff out of them.

Rascal does well with other dogs and participates in our play dates, where he’s been around up to three dogs at a time. He would love having another dog to play with! He’s also good with kids and may do well with cats.

He can be very high-energy when he first comes out of his kennel, but once he gets that energy out, he settles down and is happy to relax. He does well on a leash and enjoys being around his people. He can get a little mouthy when he’s excited, so he’ll need someone willing to work with him on that.

Rascal was recently in foster, where he did great with their dog. He did have a seizure while in foster, but has had no issues since. He is currently taking seizure medication and gabapentin to help with anxiety. His foster also noted that he’ll need some work on potty training.

Rascal is looking for a family who can give him the structure, patience, and activity he needs. Most of all, he needs out of the shelter ASAP.
