Wink came to us after losing one eye due to being kicked, and despite everything he’s endured, he remains a soft, quiet soul who just needs a patient, understanding home. He’s very shy here at the shelter, but never mean — just unsure and overwhelmed by all the noise and activity around him. Being picked up scares him, but with time and a calm environment, he can learn to trust at his own pace.

Wink previously lived with other cats and would likely do well with another calm, respectful feline friend. He may also be okay with a laid-back dog that gives him space. His favorite things are wet food, soft beds, and peaceful corners where he can relax without pressure.

As a senior, special-needs cat, Wink needs someone who will love him gently, move slowly, and let him blossom in his own time. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and FeLV-FIV negative. If you have a quiet home and a big heart for cats who’ve had a rough start, Wink is waiting for someone just like you.
