Meet Ruby!

Ruby is a 6.5-year-old sweetheart who truly lives up to her reputation as “literally the sweetest baby.” She is a total couch potato at heart who loves nothing more than attention, belly rubs, snacks, and being close to her people. If you’re looking for a cuddly companion who is happiest soaking up love on the couch, Ruby is your girl.

She enjoys tennis balls and will happily engage in a bit of play, but her favorite activity is relaxing by your side and collecting all the affection she can get. Ruby did great with cat testing and has shown she can live peacefully with cats.

On leash, she does tend to pull, so she’ll benefit from continued basic leash training and structure during walks. She is very people-focused, though she can be selective with some men and may do best in a home that understands her comfort levels and lets her build trust at her own pace.

Ruby has lived in a home before and was recently returned. She would likely do best as the only dog in the home, or with very slow, careful introductions if another dog is present. She may also be best suited for a home with calmer, older children.

At her core, Ruby is affectionate, goofy, and deeply loving with the right match. She thrives when she feels safe, understood, and included as part of the family, and she’s ready to find her forever couch to claim as her own.
