Meet Moxie 💙

Moxie is an 11-month-old sweetheart who is looking for a patient family willing to show her that the world can be a safe and happy place. This gentle girl came from a home with 15+ other dogs and is still learning what it means to be an individual and receive the love and attention she deserves.

Moxie is very shy and will need time, patience, and understanding as she continues to build her confidence. She had never been on a leash before coming to us, and while she has been working hard, walking on a leash is still something she is learning. Her future family should be prepared to continue helping her feel comfortable with new experiences at her own pace.

During cat testing, Moxie showed that she was unsure and gave plenty of side-eye, so a cat-free home would likely be the best fit. She has lived with other dogs before, but she would need a proper meet and greet with any potential canine siblings to make sure they are a good match.

Moxie hasn’t shown much interest in toys yet, but she is a very sweet girl who is learning every day. Because of her shy nature, a home with older children (10+) would be the best fit for her.

Moxie is scheduled for a dental on 7/31 and will be feeling even better as she continues her journey toward finding her forever home.
