Meet Lucille! 

Lucille is a big, beautiful senior girl with a heart full of love. Originally adopted from us back in 2017, she’s found her way back through no fault of her own and is once again searching for her forever home.

She adores people and has a wonderfully gentle nature. Though she can be a little shy at first, she quickly warms up and shows just how sweet she is. Her previous owner mentioned she could be reactive on leash with other dogs, but we haven’t seen that here—she’s been calm and well-behaved. She’s also fine with cats and would likely do well with respectful children.

Lucille is a smart, well-trained lady who knows several commands including sit, stay, come, down, off, and stop. She was kennel trained in her previous home, never destructive, and continues to have great manners here.

While she’s not overly playful, Lucille loves treats, enjoys a little pumpkin added to her meals, and would be happiest spending her days relaxing by your side.
