Meet Brandy!

Brandy is a sweet girl who came to us as a stray after animal control was unable to take her in. She appears to have likely had puppies in the past, and she’s now ready for a stable, loving home where she can finally be cared for the way she deserves.

On a leash, Brandy walks fairly well and is very treat-motivated—she’ll happily take any snack you offer and already knows how to “sit.” She enjoys attention and is generally a gentle, people-focused dog, including with children, making her a nice match for a family setting.

Brandy is still learning how to play and interact with toys—she may chase a tennis ball but isn’t quite sure what to do after that. She’s more interested in treats and companionship than play at this stage.

With other dogs, Brandy can be reactive when seeing them in kennel settings, but she showed a more positive and thoughtful response during a controlled meet-and-greet with another dog, Rascal. With slow introductions and continued structured socialization, she may do well with the right canine companion.

She is not cat-friendly and should go to a home without cats.

Brandy is heartworm negative, spayed, microchipped, and ready for her next chapter. She’s a sweet, resilient girl who is just looking for someone patient enough to help her continue building confidence and stability.
