Bea is a social girl who thrives on human attention and will happily jump right into your arms for affection. She loves car rides, enjoys hanging out with her favorite humans, and prefers being part of whatever you’re doing.

According to her previous owner, Bea was fine with cats, though she did enjoy playfully chasing them and grumbled a bit if a cat got too close to her face. She has never lived with dogs, so slow introductions or a dog-free home may be best. She does well with kids, but older children who understand boundaries would be a better fit for her personality.

Leash time is an adjustment for Bea — she can be snippy when a leash is being put on, and we suspect her previous owner may not have leash-trained her at all. With patience, positive exposure, and a gentle approach, she can absolutely learn.

Bea isn’t very treat-motivated, but she is extremely people-motivated — she wants to be by your side, in your lap, and part of a family again. If you’re looking for a devoted companion with a little sass and a whole lot of heart, Bea might be the perfect match.
