Meet Aspen!

​

Aspen is a gorgeous Australian Shepherd. Her previous owner says she is wonderful for the groomer, but she does have that "crazy" Aussie energy. She doesn't seem to get along with other female dogs, but we think she might do ok with a male dog. Aspen needs to be the top dog in the pack, so she'll want a sibling that will be more submissive and will go along with whatever she wants.

She doesn't seem to like cats at all and would most likely terrorize any cats, or other small animals, in and around the home. She also doesn't seem to know yet what to do with toys. She does love "Beggin strips" though, and is pretty food motivated.

Aspen needs someone who will be able to take the time to help her work on her leash skills. She has more energy than we are able to get out of her here in the shelter, and we think she'd do great with someone who was a runner and wants a running partner.

Aspen is spayed, microchipped, up to date on her vaccinations, and tested negative for heartworm.
