Meet Sally!

Sally is a sweet but nervous hound mix. She was adopted from here as a puppy last year, but was brought back because she was chasing small animals. She is slow to warm up but once she trusts you (and sees if you have yummy treats) she gives great kisses!

Sally loves her treats, and she loves toys. She will shred anything with stuffing, and she loves to dig those squeakers out of toys. We only give her toys that don’t have the stuffing in them here at the shelter.

She’s starting to walk better on a leash since coming in, and she’s working on learning basic commands like Sit, Stay, and Shake. She’s very smart, but the hound dog in her is stubborn and will only learn what she wants!

Sally is dog selective. Some dogs she gets along with, others not, and we don’t know what causes either. If you already have a dog, we would require a meet & greet to see how they get along.

She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on all of her vaccinations, and tested negative for heartworms.
