Intake 5/15/24

Meet Sid!

Sid came into the shelter after his owner unfortunately lost her battle with Cancer. When he first came in, he was terrified, and was slow to trust our staff. However, we learned quickly that he LOVES to play with tennis balls! He also loves to play tug-of-war with a rope.

Sid is very sweet once he gets to know you. He walks nicely on a leash, and he’s VERY potty trained. He does NOT make messes in his kennel. He has a huge bark that matches his huge personality, and he enjoys scaring the kennel attendants by waiting until they are almost past his kennel and THEN barking!

Sid is going to be a great dog for someone. He is dog selective, so if you already have a dog we would require a meet & greet. We do think he’d do well with a calmer, female dog. We do not know how he will do with cats.

Sid is neutered, microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations, and tested negative for heartworms.
